Huan Wang is a resesarch scholar at the Rural Education Action Program (REAP). She received her PhD in Economics from Northwest University. She has been involved with REAP since 2010 when she conducted REAP's nutrition and education project in China. Her past research including projects reducing dropouts in junior high schools, assess educational quality and compares student learning in higher education.
She is currently working on a randomized experiment that investigates the impact of independent reading on students’ performance. She is also working with local communities on building a sustainable model that provide quality vision care to rural China.
