Biography

Cindy Feng is an academic editor at the Stanford Center on China’s Economy and Institutions (SCCEI). She graduated in 2021 with a B.A. in History from UC Berkeley, where she wrote her senior thesis on nineteenth-century social reform movements; she also spent a year on exchange at the London School of Economics. Guided by her studies on the history of modern China, and by her experiences living in Taipei and working in Shenzhen, Cindy aims to make empirical research on China accessible as well as grounded in cross-cultural collaboration. At SCCEI, Cindy currently works on projects involving early childhood development and health policy.
