Biography

Luke comes to the Ford Dorsey Master’s in International Policy as a 2024 Knight-Hennessy Scholar and a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He graduated as a Distinguished Graduate from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) with a bachelor's degree in management and a minor in global logistics management in 2024. Upon completion of graduate school, Luke will head to Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) to train in the world's only multinational pilot training program chartered to produce combat pilots for NATO. 

Luke’s academic and professional interests include arms control, great power competition, NATO defense policy, and sustainability. While at the academy, he served as a member of the U.S. Air Force “Wings of Blue” parachute team as a jumpmaster and basic freefall instructor. Luke helped develop USAFA’s Sustainability Strategic Plan and held leadership roles as a cadet squadron commander and president of the Make-A-Wish “Cadet for a Day” program.
