Biography

Justin joins the Ford Dorsey Master's in International Policy after obtaining his B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Justin aspires to combine his knowledge of engineering with his advanced studies in international policy to inform U.S. policy in the Indo-Pacific region and identify the effects of emerging technologies on international security. While at the Academy, Justin completed research with Lockheed Martin, the Air Force Research Laboratory, and Blue Horizons, and was a leader for the National Character and Leadership Symposium. At Stanford, Justin is an editor for the Stanford International Policy Review, student fellow at the Hoover Institution, and Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. Justin's research investigates national security decision-making at the National Security Council, U.S. foreign policy towards Southeast Asian nations, and territorial disputes in the South China Sea. After completing his studies at Stanford, Justin will attend Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training and become a pilot in the United States Air Force. Justin is a Knight-Hennessy scholar and especially enjoys the opportunity to interact with students across the Stanford community.
