Jafar Almukdadi

Jafar Almukdadi is the Associate Director for Academic Affairs & Human Resources at Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), where he oversees human resources operations, academic affairs, and faculty and staff appointments.

Prior to joining FSI, Jafar served as an HR Manager at Stanford’s Vice Provost and Dean of Research (DoR) and has experience in employee and labor relations, HR communications, and talent management. He holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Bachelor’s in Collaborative Health and Human Services from California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB). He is also SPHR-certified.
