Biography
Anthony Louis D'Agostino was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Earth System Science and joined FSE in July 2017. He currently works as a Research Economist in the International division at Mathematica Policy Research. He is an applied microeconomist working in development and environmental economics on the effects of climate shocks on low-income households. His research has examined agricultural responses to climate change, the labor market effects of new agricultural technologies, and various aspects of energy poverty.
Anthony has worked at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI-LDEO), Centre on Asia and Globalisation (National University of Singapore), the Greenhouse Gas Protocol's Secretariat at the World Resources Institute (WRI) and at the United Nations Environment Programme's Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (UNEP-ROAP). He holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, a Master in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, and a BA in Philosophy from Rutgers University.
