CISAC’s Karl Eikenberry, William J. Perry, Scott D. Sagan, and J.B. Vowell joined fellow experts and policy leaders to analyze the importance of humanities and social science education for national security and international relations. They were convened by a national commission charged by Congress with illuminating ways of maintaining excellence in the humanities and social sciences.
