The Rural Education Action Program (REAP) at Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI) is seeking a social media intern to manage its Twitter and Facebook.

Start: ASAP! You will work with research staff to learn about our various health and education projects in rural China. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing our networks on Twitter and Facebook. We will help guide you at the beginning, but once you become familiar with our work and key messages, you will have autonomy to manage both accounts.

Hours: Minimum of 1 hour per day, 5 days a week, @ $16/hour. After an initial 1-month of training in the office, you will have the flexibility to work remotely.

Qualifications: Undergraduates who are interested in communications, applied social science research and / or contemporary China are encouraged to apply

  • Self-motivated and inquisitive
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Deep familiarity with the in's and out's of social media
